BIOGRAPHY:

 

2 Cute 4 Country are sisters, Chelsea (age 17) and Saleen Nolan (age 15), who write and perform original songs as well as some covers. It all started in 2013 when they won 1st place in all categories and age groups for Best Original Song at the HYPE MUSIC Competition.  They've performed at The Robert McLaughlin Gallery (RMG Fridays) 2015 & 2016, numerous cancer benefits, Chazzapalooza, Lindsay Ribfest August 2014 & 2015, Oshawa's Canada Day 2014, 2015 & 2016 on the Song Writer's Stage, Family Stage & Community Stage. They also performed at Oshawa's Culture Counts Open mics and many throughout Durham. They received 2nd place in Oshawa's Got Talent and performed twice at Brooklin Spring Fair 2015 and Bowmanville's Rockin' Rotary Ribfest 2015 & 2016, the PAN AM GAMES in Oshawa on July 16 and July 24, 2015, the One World Buffet Grand Opening and Catriona’s Gelato Cafe Grand Opening, many Charity events such as Tunes for Teya (a little girl with cancer), Be Brave for Brady (a little girl who needed a bone marrow transplant) and  Songs for Smiles at the Jubilee Pavillion in Oshawa.

In June 2016 they were judges and the guest performers for Brooklin Mini Idol in Brooklin, ON.  They performed on both stages at the Bowmanille Rotary Ribfest, RMG Fridays at the Robert McLaughlin Gallery in Oshawa and were the Emcees and entertainers on the Community Stage at the Canada Day celebrations at Lakeview Park in Oshawa, and performed on the main stage at the 1st Port Perry Rotary Ribfest July 30.  They were featured artists for Culture Squared at City Hall in Oshawa and performed at the Bandshell in Oshawa to help support Friends of Fort McMurray, a Fundraiser to help families whose homes were destroyed in wildfires, Habitat for Humanity Durham and Habitat for Humanity Canada.  They also won first place at Orono Fair's Mini Idol in 2016, performed at Hopefest for Sick Kid's Hospital in Pefferlaw, ON and were the guest performers for the Canadian Transplant Games in Toronto, ON which is close to their hearts considering their father had a double lung transplant.
